Artist Info: The Hillary Step

There are at least two bands named The Hillary Step.

One was a Belton (Kansas City), MO band active from 1998-2002. The band played emotional post-hardcore with intricate mathrock elements. The Hillary Step was lead by guitarist/vocalist Brad Hodgson, and featured long-time friends bassist Brian Frisbie and drummer Danny McConnaughhay. The trio released The Second Time Means Nothing in 1999 on URININE Records before ultimately dissolving in 2002 when Hodgson moved to Texas. [read more...]
