The Arc Light Sessions specializes in symphonic progressive rock - a style of music that, admittedly, has not been in vogue for many decades yet still enjoys a strong following among people who still appreciate high quality musicianship, sometimes longer than average songs and instrumental passages mixed in for good measure. It is music which freely borrows from classical, jazz, folk and rock to create a new concoction.
