Artist Info: Roland Blum

Liechtenstein-based musician/composer Roland Blum was born on 13 October 1966.

After graduating from the Lucerne School of Jazz in Switzerland, he studied guitar with Christy Doran, attended the "Neue Musik" (New Music) Seminar at the Lucerne Conservatory, and spent time in Habana studying percussion/rhythm with Cuban master El Pidio.

He is currently playing with several ensembles, writing and recording his very own take on classical music, jazz, pop, and film soundtracks, as well as remixing songs for other artists. [read more...]
