Robbie Nevil is an American pop singer/songwriter/guitarist. He was born Robert Scott Nevil on October 2, 1958 in Los Angeles, California. His surname is often mis-spelled 'Neville'.

He started out as a session guitarist and song writer/arranger who wrote for the Pointer Sisters, Sheena Easton, El Debarge and Vanity.
