Pinkertons Assorted Colours Led by Frontman Tony Newman , I think they came from Nottingham. They Changed their name to Pinkertons Colours dropping the Assorted. The Band went to the USA and had a hit Smile A Little Smile For Me under The name Flying Machine Then came back from the USA to a 7 Week TV show with a Female singer called Marrianne (I think thats what her name was?).
