An old name amongst the Beijing music scene returns with a new line-up, a step to the left in musical direction but still occupying the grey areas of music genres. Returning to a 3-piece configuration and retaining the solid rhythm section that made Nakoma unique in minds of many with a new guitarist filling in the gaps.

Nakoma boldly ventures into genres previously untouched by the group, mixing in math rock elements, at times punk intensity and a nonchalant nod to time signatures. [read more...]
