Jethro Tull are a British rock band formed in Blackpool, Lancashire, in 1967. Emerging from the British blues scene of the late 1960s, the band developed a style that incorporated elements of progressive rock, folk rock, hard rock, and classical music. Throughout their career, they underwent numerous stylistic changes while maintaining a distinctive musical identity.
