Artist Info: Jamie Leo

Jamie grew up in Stevenage, Hertfordshire in a house full of music. Her dad made sure his stereo equipment was up to date and tested it with the likes of Michael Jackson, Elvis and George Benson, Stevie Wonder and Quincy Jones.

She was singing from age six and writing her own lyrics at 13. Her only formal training was a couple of voice lessons for her music GCSE but when she sung the last note for her practical exam the pianist turned to her and said - "That's going to be an A star" - and it was. [read more...]
