Bernie Early performed on the radio when he was fifteen, playing bass and guitar in a blue grass band. At seventeen, he was singing country music in clubs and lounges.
At nineteen he was discovered by Fats Domino's manager, who took him to New York City, where he signed with MGM Records. Selling over a million records of a song he wrote called Rock Doll, he appeared on American Bandstand coast to coast with Dick Clark and has worked with Brenda Lee [read more...]
