The remastered 1987 CD release of this album differs from the original 1976 LP release. Among other differences the CD release contains a spoken word portion by Orson Welles.
In 1994 the Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab released a CD edition of the original 1976 LP recording (UDCD-606).
In 2007, a Deluxe Edition released by Universal Music included both the 1976 and the 1987 versions remastered by Alan Parsons during 2006 with eight additional bonus tracks.
Band founder Alan Parsons is a well respected studio engineer. He is known to have worked on Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon".
