SZNZ: Summer is an EP by Weezer, the second (of four) releases in the SZNZ series. The EP was released on June 21, 2022 and is produced by Daniel Omelio and Suzy Shinn.
Rivers Cuomo has stated that "Records" was intended to be the EP's lead single but was unable to be released due to the Juneteenth Spotify lockout. Cuomo has described the EP's sound as "21st century 90s." Aesthetically, he has linked Summer to 44 BC at the end of the Roman Republic (in contrast to the Celtic theming around SZNZ: Spring), with an intended emotion of "youthful indignation".
